What we store
TradeAlertFinder keeps a directory of alert providers. Traders register so the full list stays with people who asked to see it.
Traders
We store your name, email, and phone number, plus the time you signed up. Your phone and email stay on the server. They are not shown on the directory, and alert providers never receive them.
Login is a 6-digit code emailed to you. The code expires after 10 minutes. We store only a hash of the code. Your session is an HttpOnly cookie.
Providers
A provider account uses the same email-code login. Your listing shows the public details you submit: name, markets, subscription text, and the links you choose. Your account email is not printed on the directory.
When a logged-in trader sees your listing or follows one of its links, we add to a view count or a click count. Those counts are totals and daily totals. They are not tied to a trader’s name, email, or phone in anything a provider can open.
Admin
The site owner can see trader name, email, phone, and signup date, and can export that list as a CSV, so listings can be reviewed and the directory kept accurate.
Payments
Listing is $20/month. Featured placement at $49/month is not on sale yet. This version does not collect card payments. When Stripe is connected, subscription status will be updated from Stripe. You are not charged by submitting a form today.
